Accepted credit

How many CE hours do South Dakota podiatrists need?
30 hours of continuing medical education every 2 years, due July 1 of odd-numbered years, per ARSD 20:55:01:08. Up to 30 additional hours can be carried over for two years only.
Are APMA-approved credits accepted in South Dakota?
Yes. Program hours must be approved and certified by the Council on Podiatric Medical Education of the American Podiatric Medical Association, or otherwise approved by the Board of Podiatry Examiners. CPME-approved (and therefore APMA-sponsored) CME is the standard accreditation pathway.
Are there mandatory CE topics for DPM renewal in South Dakota?
