For Dentists, 30 hours is the total CME requirement. Idaho also requires a set of one-time topics that count toward the 30-hour total.

Dentists holding any sedation permit
“Proof of a minimum of twenty-five (25) continuing education credit hours in sedation which may include training in medical/office emergencies will be required to renew a permit.”
Credit must come from an organization accredited by the ACCME, AMA, Idaho Medical Association, or AAFP. ACGME residency or fellowship time accrues toward the requirement. Teaching or presenting accredited CME can satisfy a portion of required hours.
