Below is exactly what New Hampshire Board of Dental Examiners (under OPLC) requires: mandatory topics, exemptions, accepted credit types, and documentation rules.

For Dentists, 40 hours is the total CME requirement. New Hampshire also requires a set of one-time topics that count toward the 40-hour total.
“At least 30 CEUs earned in clinical dental care subjects;”
“Successfully completed a BLS-HCP course that includes a hands-on component as required by Den 406.06(c);”
“At least 2 CEUs earned in infection control”
“At least 2 CEUs earned in Medical Emergency Training.”
These rules apply only when the trigger described under each card is met (for example, holding a state-issued controlled substance registration or treating a specific patient population). Each cites the underlying statute or rule directly.
Licensees required to register with the prescription drug monitoring program and who possess a valid DEA number
“Three CEUs in the area of pain management, addiction disorder, or a combination of both pain management and addiction disorder; or”
Dentists holding a general anesthesia, deep sedation, or moderate sedation permit
“whether the applicant has provided a current copy of their certificate(s) for advanced cardiac life support (ACLS), pediatric advanced life support (PALS), or both as appropriate for the type of permit being renewed;”
Credit must come from an organization accredited by the ACCME, AMA, New Hampshire Medical Association, or AAFP. ACGME residency or fellowship time accrues toward the requirement. Teaching or presenting accredited CME can satisfy a portion of required hours.
