FAQ
How many CE hours do New Hampshire podiatrists need?
40 hours every two calendar years. At least 30 hours must be live, formal coursework from an accredited American school or college of podiatry or medicine or from a CPME- or AMA-recognized state or regional podiatric association. No more than 10 hours may be CPME-certified instructional media (home study).
Are APMA-approved credits accepted in New Hampshire?
Yes. The OPLC rule specifically states that "continuing education courses given by the American Podiatric Medical Association shall be automatically approved." APMA programs do not require separate Board approval.
Are there mandatory CE topics for DPM renewal in New Hampshire?
The Board's rule does not impose state-level topic-specific CE mandates on podiatrists at this writing. The federal MATE Act requires a one-time 8-hour course on substance use disorder treatment for every DEA-registered prescriber, including DPMs.
Where can I check my New Hampshire podiatry license renewal date?
OPLC's online portal at oplc.nh.gov has license verification and renewal functions for the Board of Podiatry. Note that the CE reporting deadline (April 1) is separate from the licensee's renewal date.

Atlas CME tracks your hours, maps them to your state requirements, and reminds you before your the calendar year renewal.
