North Dakota has no state-mandated topic requirements beyond the 60-hour total.
Credit must come from an organization accredited by the ACCME, AMA, North Dakota Medical Association, or AAFP. ACGME residency or fellowship time accrues toward the requirement. Teaching or presenting accredited CME can satisfy a portion of required hours.

Physicians are responsible for retaining CME documentation and producing it on request. Requirements include course title, dates, hours, sponsoring organization, and accrediting body.
First-year licensees: requirement waived for the first year of licensure.
Practitioners licensed less than 3 years are subject to a minimum of 20 hours per calendar year of licensure (after the first-year waiver).
The Board may waive CE on application by the podiatrist with a satisfactory explanation.
