First-year licensees: requirement waived for the first year of licensure.

FAQ
How many CE hours do North Dakota podiatrists need?
60 hours within the 36-month period preceding renewal — a rolling three-year window. New licensees: 20 hours per calendar year of licensure after the waived first year, ramping to the full 60-hour rolling total.
Are APMA-approved credits accepted in North Dakota?
North Dakota Chapter 63-03-02 does not name APMA or CPME as automatic provider systems. It accepts courses approved by the Board when the content is directly related to podiatric medicine and the speaker is a licensed podiatrist, credentialed health care professional, or otherwise qualified person. APMA/CPME courses may qualify when they meet those Board-approved-course criteria.
Are there mandatory CE topics for DPM renewal in North Dakota?
The Board's published CME guidance and Chapter 63-03-02 do not name specific topic mandates. Federal MATE Act training is required for DEA-registered podiatrists.
Where can I check my North Dakota podiatry license renewal date?
Verification and certification of licensure are handled through the Board's website at ndpodiatryboard.org. Renewal is due annually by December 31.
