Wisconsin has no state-mandated topic requirements beyond the 50-hour total.
Credit must come from an organization accredited by the ACCME, AMA, Wisconsin Medical Association, or AAFP. ACGME residency or fellowship time accrues toward the requirement. Teaching or presenting accredited CME can satisfy a portion of required hours.

A licensee may apply to the board for a postponement or waiver of the requirements on the grounds of prolonged illness, disability, or other grounds constituting hardship.
New-graduate exemption: podiatrists who graduated from an approved podiatry school within the 2 years immediately preceding renewal satisfy the CE requirement through that graduation (Wis. Admin. Code Pod 3.01).
