Effective January 1, 2028, OR APRNs must demonstrate either active national certification (NBCRNA for CRNAs) or 75 hours of advanced-practice CE per biennial renewal cycle.

Yes — initial licensure requires successful completion of the NBCRNA exam, and continued maintenance of NBCRNA certification satisfies the 2028+ APRN renewal pathway directly.
